The “DiversidArte exhibition: Travelers-residents of Quintana Roo” was inaugurated on Thursday May 19. The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus and Olympus Tours Foundation, organized this exhibition of visual arts, In the framework of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, which commemorates the United Nations Organization every May 21.
The opening event was graced by the participation of the famous sitar player Sidartha siliceo and Paola Reyes Osuna Maleni dancer, who danced to the rhythm of the peculiar sound of this traditional instrument in northern India. The special participation of both of these artists at the opening event was sponsored by TGI Gallery , and its director Pradeep Agarwal. The exhibition “DiversidArte exhibition: Travelers-residents of Quintana Roo”, was possible thanks to the support of settled consular offices in the state, who helped with the diffusion and, in some cases, contacting the artists.
The exhibition is presented from May 19 to June 20th in the Olympus Gallery, between the hours of 10am to 6pm from Monday thru Friday, and Saturdays from 10am to 3 pm. Admission is free.
