On Sunday October 16, more than 90 team Leaders and Assistance Team leader of Liberty Travel collaborated along with parents, students of Kiin Beh Educational Center, Olympus tours employees and volunteers of the Olympus tours foundation placing 1600 m2 of grass in the new facilities of Kiin Beh Educational Center, located in Colonia Cristo Rey of Playa del Carmen.
The lawn was donated by the Liberty Travel team members, who in a previous occasion donated part of the material to build six classrooms that will accommodate the elementary students of this educational center, today this school provides comprehensive and bilingual education to about 200 children of limited resources.
During Sunday morning parents, children, Olympus tours staff members and liberty travel’s team leaders worked hand in hand to complete the task. Some people carried the grass, some smoothed out the surface, and a few more extended the rolls of grass on the ground. Everyone, regardless of the cultural barriers, language and age worked with pleasure and joy to reach the goal.
The children showed at all times their excitement and anticipation for being a step closer to the day when their new school is built and finished to finally take classes in their spacious classrooms. In the meantime the agents expressed their satisfaction with the completed task but, above all, for being able to collaborate so that these children have a decent school and a better future.
At the end of the day the liberty travel agents handed out notebooks, colored chalks, markers, coloring books and other school supplies to the students of Kiin Beh.
